Spaniards in the Valencia region love their rice. That means that regional specialities include more rice dishes than you can imagine. One of our family favorites is a wonderful winter dish called Arroz al Horno (Oven-Baked Rice). It’s packed full of veggies, meats, and rice, and baked in the oven. In fact, it’s many Spaniards’ preferred rice dish, even more than traditional paella.
Together we’ll make Arroz al Horno from start to finish – using Yaya (Grandma) Consuelo’s recipe that she shared with us. And you’ll get to eat this wonderful winter treat, along with a couple of super-simple tapas. You’ll take home the recipes and tips to reproduce this great meal for your own friends and family.
