Think that sourdough or natural yeast bread is just too complicated – or that bread is the unhealthiest thing you can eat? Think again! Bread made with the natural yeast found in the atmosphere of your own kitchen is a healthy fermented food. And it doesn’t have to be complicated at all. If you’ve taken our 5 Minute Crusty Bread class and want to explore further – or if you want to dive right into simple sourdough baking, this class is for you.
Even if you’re gluten intolerant, many people can eat natural yeast breads with no problem. (Sorry, not for Celiacs.)
Come and get your hands in the dough, and learn super simple and quick ways to make crusty sourdough loaves and baguettes. If the “sour” part of sourdough doesn’t appeal to you, we’ll teach you how to minimize the pungent flavors, so they’re not even noticeable.
Bring a friend, or bring your honey – or both. Or just treat yourself to this hands-on class. Take home simple recipes and a sourdough starter that you can use right away to make healthy homemade bread!
