- Homemade Bread
March 29, 2018
6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
There’s nothing quite like the smell of homemade bread – well, except eating it while it’s still warm! And guess what? You don’t have to be a master baker, or have tons of time to make that wonderful crusty bread you thought required a PhD to make.
In this class you’ll see (and feel) the simple dough that you can literally throw together in 5 minutes before you leave in the morning, and pop in the oven when you get home in the evening. No kneading, no fuss, hot delicious bread in no time.
You’ll learn the simple things to watch for in making a successful loaf. We’ll make a yeast bread, and we’ll also cover a very basic sourdough bread method that’s super easy, doesn’t require that you feed the starter every day, is healthy, and can often be eaten by those who are gluten intolerant (not for those with Celiac, sorry!).
Yes, you can make delicious fresh bread and baguettes, and your friends and family will thank you for it!
